James 2: 17 (NSRV)
While Faith is pleased to invite you to join us in worship and study, you really get to know who we are and what we are about by becoming personally involved in the works of the church.
Faith members can be found serving in many ways in the local, church, and global community.
Faith members have supported many organizations who focus on improving the well-being of residents of the North Georgia mountains with their time and/or financial support:
A community collaborative focused on improving the well being of children and families in Fannin County. Family Connection also operates a food pantry.
Open Arms cares for children affected by abuse and neglect.
Providing affordable housing for the housing insecure.
Working together to educate and encourage our community to self-sufficiency while providing food for those in need.
Providing services and support to survivors of domestic abuse and/or sexual assault.
Serving adults with developmental disabilities by providing community access and specialized medical supplies/equipment.
Helping Fannin children get nutritious and easy-to-prepare food they need for weekends, school breaks, and summer vacation breaks.
A summer program provided by the Blue Ridge Community Theater for youth to learn theater skills and produce plays for the general public.
Supporting the local efforts of the Marines Toys for Tots program to provide Christmas gifts to
In cooperation with the Jewish Community of Fannin County, Faith has secured an annual grant to provide a feeding program for senior citizens in this region.
Meetings of a NAMI support group meet regularly at Faith.
Members of the church who travel wherever natural disasters may strike to aid in the local recovery.
Utilizing a designated portion of the church campus, our member gardners grow regional crops that are either donated directly to Feed Fannin or sold with the proceeds going to Feed Fannin.
Women of the church who annually choose to support a local or global project to aid the less-fortunate.
As you can imagine, being a community of faith requires a lot of person-power to make it happen. Faith members find their time and talents are well-utilized in many areas of service to the church:
The needs of God’s people are certainly not restricted to the small part of this world in which we live. Faith accepts its global responsibility by supporting the work of several organizations and efforts:
