From the beginning, Faith has given a minimum of 10% of its pledges each year to missions. See our 2025 missions below:
In 2021 Faith, in conjunction with the Jewish Congregation, received a grant to provide food to needy senior citizens in our area. It was renewed once in 2022. Since then, we have continued to provide bags of food to nearly 180 people monthly.
Our newest project, aimed at the lost, least and last (the homeless in our community), provides a meal and fellowship monthly.
Food grown on our property is given to needy people in our community.
Provides the services older adults need to be healthy, happy, and independent. Once a month our volunteers prepare lunch and do an activity.
Caring for families, connecting with resources, and collaborating with key organizations.
Habitat for Humanity pours love and commitment into constructing not just houses, but homes, for deserving families in Fannin & Gilmer Counties.
Decreases the burden of childhood hunger in Fannin County and surrounding areas by providing food-insecure families with a weekend food assistance program
Because hunger doesn’t take a vacation, Faith partners with Snack in a Backpack, Family Connection, and Feed Fannin to provide bags of food to children and families once a week during the summer break.
Scholarships are provided for this Children’s Theater camp.
A new ministry working with those incarcerated in Fannin County to help prepare them to reintegrate into the community.
Fostering Fannin serves and supports children in foster care, kinship care, and those at risk of entering the child welfare system in our community.
Our Georgia Family Connection Collaborative serves as the local decision-making body, bringing community partners together to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address the serious challenges facing our children and families.
Serves adults with developmental disabilities. Sponsors special local Special Olympics.
Provides safe shelter & support services for survivors of domestic violence & survivors of sexual assault.
Provides watchful oversight and care for young girls, between 10 to 18 years of age, affected by abuse and neglect.
The emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It enables congregations and mission partners to respond to crises and catastrophic events by providing support and resources to affected communities. PDA works closely with local partners to bring healing and hope during disasters, offering tools for preparation, response, and recovery.
A South Carolina facility which provides safe and nurturing environments to educate, equip, and support children and families to thrive.
As you can imagine, being a community of faith requires a lot of person-power to make it happen. Faith members find their time and talents are well-utilized in many areas of service to the church:
