Our Mission at Faith Presbyterian is “By God's love and grace, we are called to welcome all, to worship, and to serve both our community and church to the glory of God.”

First, we, as a church and as individuals are here only through the love and grace of God. That love and grace created the world and everything that inhabits it…including the members of Faith. Not only were we created, but we were saved and forgiven for our sins through the most remarkable sacrifice God could make…the life of his son Jesus Christ.

We believe that God has a purpose for us…that to which we are “Called”. And we, as a congregation have “Committed” ourselves and our ministry to answer that Call.

In everything we do, we turn to God to “Lead” our efforts.

We know that we are called and led to worship God. We worship God by striving to be the people he wants us to be. We study the written word to better understand the writings of the early prophets and scholars and the teachings of Jesus. And as we grow in our faith and knowledge, we realize that we must share what we learn with the hope of bringing others to understand the saving grace of God.

But we also recognize that increasing our understanding and sharing that knowledge is not enough. From its beginnings, the membership of Faith has felt the call of God to be one of active service.

You can’t spend any time with members of Faith without realizing that this congregation is about service. We see unmet needs in our community and know that we are called to play a part in meeting them. Yes, it can be financial support, but even more, it usually means members rolling up their sleeves and getting involved.

Go to the "Get Involved" tab above and click on "Community Service" to find information about many of the areas in which Faith is serving. Even as you read this page, Faith is planning how it may fill another community need. We hope you will join us in our Mission.
